Rats coming out to play

August 30, 2007

I’ve been meaning to take some photos of the girls demanding to come out and exiting the cage for a while now. Basically because I love watching those gorgeous white tums climbing up the bars and starfishing at the door. Then the mass exodus as all six ratties all try and fit out the door at the same time.

Here they are waiting to come out, it’s not a very good photo, they’d all moved by the time I turned on the camera! The rat showing off her lovely tummy is Charlotte:

Here they are getting out the door. You can see all six rats in this photo – Doughnut is the one escaping out of the top left corner, Mustard, Treacle and Pepper (l-r) are on the door, Tinkerbell is on the shelf behind Mustard and Charlotte’s sitting on the litter basket in the bottom of the pic:

Your cage looks very cozy. It makes one wonder why they’re so eager to climb out. Oh well, silly rats! 😉
